Early Life
Hannon Bothma was born in 1967, according to Briefly News. He went with his mother to Ophelia’s Hair Salon in Vryburg and sat cross-legged on the ground before her. He grew fascinated with the women’s new look after they came out of the cocoon hair dryers. His birth name is Johannes.

Hannon Bothma and his husband, Julius Swart, announced news of filing for divorce after being together for 30 years. Their relationship was filled with claims of abuse and cheating.
The duo met in the nineties when Hannon was a hairdresser at the Mount Nelson Hotel in Cape Town. Julius was a marketing guru and came to get his haircuts there. Hannon and Julius began to work closely together and joined forces in 1997.
Julius has an assault charge against Hannon, who had a court order against Julius. The order restricted him from accessing their bedroom and their shared walk-in closet.
