Early Life
Mbuso Mandela was born in 1991 to Makgatho Lewanika, his father, and Zondi, his mother. He has a stepmother, Rose Rayne Perry. He has three brothers – Mandla, Ndaba, and Andile.
Mandela was orphaned at the age of fourteen after his father died of an AIDS-related illness in 2005. After some years, his mother died. His father was born to Mandela and his first wife, Evelyn Mase.

Mbuso holds a Bachelor of Commerce in Marketing and Business Management from Damelin College.
Career
Mandela is a brand builder and founded the nonprofit organization Faces of Freedom. It offers educational support and access materials by providing internet to the youths.
Personal Life
Mbuso is a father of three. He posted a video confessing to beating and strangling his girlfriend. He bagged R3.1 million from the estate of his grandfather.
His former girlfriend, Gugu Keswa, labeled him a deadbeat dad and dragged him to court. He had allegedly failed to pay maintenance for their daughter. He has other children with two other women.
Mbuso Mandela reportedly had an affair with Anais Grimaud, the former wife of his eldest brother.
Scandal
Mbuso made headlines in 2015 for allegedly assaulting a forty-one-year-old woman he had sex with. She claimed he became aggressive after sleeping with her. He was purportedly charged with common assault.
Mandela allegedly raped a 16 years old teenage schoolgirl outside a toilet of a bar in Johannesburg. Nine days later, a South African court granted him bail of R7,000. The court ordered him to surrender his passport.
The police arrested him in May 2022 after a police raid at his Morningside apartment in Johannesburg. He faced charges of possession of an unlicensed firearm and drugs.
The police had received a tip-off from his landlord, who had stopped them during a routine patrol in the neighborhood after complaints from other tenants.
In 2017, he was arrested for failing to appear in the maintenance court after being subpoenaed and spent two weeks in jail. In 2018, he made headlines for claiming to have no money to pay child support.
